Veterinary Technician/Assistant Mobile Clinic Driver

Requirements: Must have a minimum of two years experience working as a veterinary technician or assistant. Individual must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced surgery environment.

We are looking for someone that has good teamwork skills, reliable and able to work independently. We are also looking for someone willing and able to drive our mobile clinic (will train right person for this position). Must be flexible with daily job duties/tasks and work as part of a team. Should also have strong desire to enhance the welfare of animals. Must be willing to work long days, as needed.

The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc. (TARA) is a non-profit spay and neuter clinic. We have been spaying and neutering since 2002. Our focus is on getting the feline and canine over-population problem under control, and we believe the most effective and humane approach is through spaying and neutering. We have both mobile and stationary clinic’s. T.A.R.A., is dedicated to reducing euthanasia in the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas of New York. Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation by providing high-quality, high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, and related care.

Individual should have an understanding of our organization’s mission of reducing euthanasia. We believe euthanasia is the number one killer of healthy cats and dogs and is preventable.
