Shuttle

Due to staffing shortages, our Shuttle service is being temporarily suspended.

We will provide a notice once our Shuttle service becomes available again.

T.A.R.A. is partnering with shelters & pet stores outside of our immediate area to bring low-cost spay/neuter closer to you! Thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA, we are now able to provide free shuttle service to and from our state-of-the-art stationary clinic in Middletown, NY to have your dog or cat spayed/neutered.

How does it work?

First, look for your desired location from the selections below and CALL the number listed with your location to make an appointment. Follow the instructions given to you over the phone once your appointment is made. On the day of, our shuttle driver meets you and drives your pet/s to our clinic in a safe, climate-controlled, custom shuttle vehicle, for surgery. They are then brought back to the host location, same day, for pick-up by you. We accept dogs and cats.

Take a look inside our state-of-the-art shuttle vehicle!

Become a Host Organization

We are still accepting inquiries from shelters in Sullivan, Rockland, lower Dutchess, Westchester, Pike, and Sussex counties. Hurry while space is still available, once our schedule fills up we will not be able to add any new locations.

We realize there is a great need for low-cost spaying and neutering options for dogs in many areas. Our goal is to become partners with a select group of shelters and/or rescue organizations that would like to be able to offer this to their local communities but don’t have the funds to start a program themselves. We want to offer your organization the opportunity to utilize our organization as the surgery provider through a contract agreement. This would eliminate any program costs to you, while still giving you the ability to promote spaying and neutering in your community.
