Warwick Valley Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic
August 18, 2012
NTERNATIONAL HOMELESS ANIMALS’ DAY! To raise awareness about the pet overpopulation epidemic! We held another spay/neuter clinic with Warwick Valley Humane Society on Saturday August 18th in Warwick. The day was a great success with 46 cats getting spayed/neutered! WVHS did a fantastic job putting this event together in honor of International Homeless Animals Day! We are so pleased with the Town of Warwick and the Village of Warwick for supporting this fabulous event that was started by the International Society for Animal Rights, www.isaronline.org. We are also so happy that the Town and Village of Warwick, Village of Chester, Village of Greenwood Lake and Orange County Executive Ed Diana signed an official proclamation recognizing this day as International Homeless Animals Day! WVHS held a candlelight vigil that evening in honor of all the homeless animals and they had a wonderful turn out! It was a pleasure and an honor to be a part of such a wonderful event! Thank You to all involved!
